Saperly bills outbound voice calls by destination zone. Inbound calls to your Saperly numbers are flat (Zone A — US/CA at launch).

Western Europe (UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Luxembourg, Malta, Cyprus, Serbia, Slovakia), Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel.
Zone C (×3) — 0.78/min hosted
Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia.
Not yet supported
Outbound calls to these destinations return 400 destination_not_supported_yet:
- India — TRAI DLT registration required (regulatory).
- China — no reliable A2P route.
- Caribbean +1 — Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bahamas, Barbados, Trinidad, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Antigua, Dominica, Saint Kitts. Wholesale termination is 4-5× LATAM/Africa rates; per-country pricing precision ships in v0.6.x.
- Sanctioned countries — Russia, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria.
How billing works
Voice is billed per second. A 30-second outbound call to a Zone B number on hosted mode bills Math.ceil(30 * 52 / 60) = 26 cents (Zone B base of 52 ¢/min hosted, prorated for 30 seconds). Reservation happens at call start; final settlement at call end via Twilio status callback.
