v0.5.3 ships the pre-launch reprice. Customer-facing surfaces lead with dollars and cents instead of a synthetic “credits” unit. Internal accounting stays in integer cents, so nothing changes about billing precision, only how rates are quoted.
Voice Zone B and Zone C multipliers stay at ×2 and ×3. The $5 free signup credit is unchanged.
Credits never expire. Saperly does not gift-card-economics your signup grant or any prepaid balance. Money you add stays on your account until you spend it.
Nothing. New rates apply automatically. If you have existing credit on the account, it converts at the locked cents-honest value and never expires.
The “credits” unit was confusing across SDKs, invoices, and the portal. Cents-honest USD reads the same everywhere and matches how every other API priceflist quotes itself. This is the rate sheet that locks for v1.0.
